Chittoor District
The district is divided into 4 revenue divisions which are Nagari, Chittoor, Palamaneru and Kuppam. Each revenue division is divided into mandals. The district has 31 Mandals under these 4 revenue divisions. There are 1 Municipal Corporation of Chittoor and 4 municipalities of Kuppam, Punganur, Palamaner and Nagari in the district.

About CHUDA
The Government of Andhra Pradesh have constituted Chittoor Urban Development Authority vide Go.Ms.No.59 MA& UD (H1) Department Dated 12.02.2019 with an extent of 3501.14 Sq.Kmts covering one Local Body i.e., Chittoor Municipal Corporation and 434 Villages and 22 Mandals in Chittoor District with a Population of 12,05,683 as per 2011 census with Head Quarters Chittoor.
Further the Government have included 48 Villages of 3 Mandals (Kalakada, Gurramkonda & K.V.Palle) vide G.O.Ms.No.109, M.A & U.D., Dept., dt: 23.09.2021 with an extent of 662.43 Sq.Kms with population of 1,19,449 as per 2011 Census in the jurisdiction of CHUDA, Chittoor. Now the total extent of CHUDA is 4163.57 Sq.Kms with 25 Mandals and 482 Villages with a population of 13,25,132.
Further the Government have excluded 15 villages of Pakala Mandal and 10 Villages of Chinnagottigallu Mandals with an extent of 267.99 Sqm from CHUDA and included in TUDA vide G.O.Ms.No.15, M.A & U.D (H1) Dept., dt: 15.02.2022.
Now the CHUDA is having (482-25) 457 Villages of 23 Mandals with an extent of (4163.57 Sq.Kms – 267.99 Sqms) 3,895.58 Sq.Kms with a population of 12,42,315. At present the following 23 Mandals are covered in Chittoor Urban Development Authority along with Municipal Corporation, Chittoor in the mentioned Assembly constituencies.
